Metaphor poem

Over the past two weeks Room 7 have been learning how to write effective metaphors. A metaphor is a direct comparison to an object/thing.

We then made a metaphor poem about ourselves. We had to describe ourselves in different ways. As a lolly or treat, a sandwich, a piece of clothing, something from the community, a car and a tree.

Some of these metaphors were tricky.
